The circle is a universal symbol with extensive meaning. It represents the notions of totality, wholeness, original perfection, the Self, the infinite, eternity, timelessness, all cyclic movement, God ('God is a circle whose centre is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere' . (Source: Google search) Simply put it is the symbol for the Divine Creator and clearly marks this site as not only being sacred but also blessed!
The meaning of the inner cross becomes very complex and has many, many diverse interpretations in ancient and new age beliefs. One explanation that is accepted by all belief systems is that the cross represent the four points of the compass, North, South, East, and West. I am going to add my own interpretation. The cross represents the many pathways of Divine Creation. Humans, aliens, animals, birds, sea creatures, mountains, rivers, oceans, everything in the entire universes and dimensions are included in that pathway. When enclosed inside the circle ii is within and under the protection of the Divine Creator. The center point of the cross simply means that all pathways lead back to the heart and origin of the Divine Creator.
